This exceptional concert marks the launch of Philopéra, the symphonic initiative spearheaded by musicians from the Paris Opera. At their invitation, Daniel Harding, one of the greatest conductors of his generation, opens the first page of this new chapter in the exceptional setting of the Palais Garnier.

Philopéra is an orchestra founded by musicians from the Paris National Opera, brought together by a desire to perform more symphonic repertoire in a free artistic setting.
Founded entirely on the initiative of its members, Philopéra is an independent association based on a rare model: the orchestra is managed collectively by its musicians. They themselves choose the works they perform and the conductors who lead them. A first in France, inspired by Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, from La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bavarian State Orchestra.
Four ambitions, one common standard. Philopéra is rolling out its artistic project well beyond its inaugural concert.
